Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe Airport to a hotel in Kampala

Meet your tour leader at Entebbe airport and after, connect to Kampala for relaxation and a night stay in a hotel you booked.

Day 2: Leave Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National Park

Leave your hotel in Kampala after breakfast and later, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Western Uganda. Drive starting from Kampala through Masaka-Mbarara and Bushenyi route. This is 6 to 7 hours’ drive journey but it lets you make a stopover at the Equator crossing for photography. Arrive at Mbarara early to have lunch then connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park to relax. At 2:00pm, you have a launch trip/boat cruise via Kazinga Channel which lets you spot out hippos, basking crocodiles, water birds and a lot more. Dine and spend a night at your safari lodge which you reserved.

Day 3: Game drive and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park will commence with breakfast and after, drive via Kasenyi Plains. In your 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop up, expect to sight wildlife species such as the cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards, lions, defassa waterbucks, bush bucks, Uganda Kobs, birds to mention but a few. Drive back to the lodge to check out ready to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Driving via Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park allows you to sight the tree climbing lions plus other wildlife species. Lunch will be served to you at Savanna Resort before connecting to Bwindi.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 4 of your 6 days Bwindi, Queen & Lake Mburo safari will begin with an early morning breakfast and after, join other visitors at a point to be briefed on gorilla tracking guidelines which starts at 7:00am. Trekking mountain gorillas is a strenuous adventure and it usually lasts about 2 to 6 hours. This also covers 1 hour of magical encounter, photography and after, walk back to relax.

In the evening, visit the Batwa community to learn how the Batwa used to hunt and gather fruits in the forest. Dine and spend a night at gorilla lodge you reserved.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Wake up early to have a cup of tea or coffee and later, meet your safari guide ready to be driven to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive early and have lunch then you will have a 2-hour game drive for you to see zebras, birds, impalas, warthogs, lions in the park’s savanna grassland.
