One Day Uganda gorilla treks mainly lead to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park leaving out the beautiful and endowed Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where silver meets Gold. For this 1 day Mgahinga Gorilla Trek, you will take the off-beaten path to the secluded Mgahinga National Park set between three Virunga Volcanoes for a quiet moment with nature.
The 1-day Mgahinga Gorilla Trek is ideal for tourists who are already in the south-western Towns of Kabale and Kisoro but also possible if you are in Kigali, except that with Kigali you will have to get up earlier than someone who is in Kisoro or Kabale. Mgahinga is Uganda’s smallest Park at 34 square kilometers and is home to one habituated gorilla group in addition to other numerous attractions not likely to be in other Parks of the country.
