Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have an early morning breakfast and later, leave Kampala for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Southwestern Uganda. Since you will embark on Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara-Kabale route, expect to make a stopover at the Equator crossing to take pictures, relax and later, drive to Igongo Cultural Center for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi while enjoying the breathtaking view of the rolling hills in southwestern Uganda.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise up early in the morning and start your second day of gorilla tour and wildlife safari with breakfast at the gorilla lodge you booked in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Join other visitors for briefing on guidelines for gorilla trekking at the park headquarters and this normally begins at around 7:00am. The park official will also allocate to you a habituated gorilla family group which you will trek in a group of 8 visitors.

At 8:00am, the actual search for mountain gorillas begins with an armed park ranger guide who will escort you. Day 3: Leave Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park

The 3rd day of your 4 days Bwindi gorilla tour & wildlife will commence with breakfast in the morning. After, leave Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha area, about 3-4 hours’ drive. Get to the lodge early for lunch and in the afternoon, you have a launch trip via Kazinga channel. On a boat cruise, expect to sight crocodiles, hippos, water birds especially shoebill storks, African skimmers, pink backed pelicans, saddle billed stork as well as elephants.
