Day 1: Leave Kigali for Volcanoes National Park
Meet your tour leader after breakfast at the hotel or upon arrival at Kigali Airport. Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park
The second day of your Rwanda gorilla tour will require you to wake up early to have breakfast. After, join the rest of the visitors at the park headquarters at 7:00am for briefing on safety measures for gorilla trekking. Today, you will get to know the gorilla family to track which you will do in a group of 8 trekkers. The gorilla groups to trek in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park include Hirwa, Amahoro, Agashya, Sabyinyo, Kwitonda, Sabyinyo, Susa A, Bwenge, Umubano and Susa A.
Eight visitors will be accompanied by the park ranger guide and at 8:00am, expect to commence the search for your gorilla family. This will take you 2 to 6 hours including 1 hour of a face to face encounter. Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
